i just started my classes this week. pretty bz since one semester's subject is compressed to one month. that is why i dont have that much time to edit my midwest pics. i manage to do it last nite when i was working. altho my schedule is quite tight, i love the fact that im taking photography class. it's b&w class n i enjoy it so much. ever since, my love to b&w grew deeper. hohoh. so, i changed some of these pictures into b&w n they turn out pretty well. even better than color ones. dlm post yg lps... boy yg byk amik gamba. so, mane2 gamba yg w/o my name, is taken by boy. talented gak si boy nih. so, most of the credit for the pics on the field directed to boy. dah balik dah mamat nie td ngan flight AA for good. gonna miss those guys.

Midwest Games 2005: history written!!

the most crucial event for us in each yr. this yr is the best. after intensive training every afternoon for 2 weeks and as early as 9 in the morning and in the afternoon every day a week before the game, we received our well deserved victory in Midwest soccer tournement. this is the first time Vandy contingent ever made it to final in any event we participated before. this yr also for the first time we made it through quaterfinal which for the past 2 yrs where we stuck each yr. this yr also mark our first victory over university of michigan where we lost to them in quaterfinal for the past 2 yrs. we are at the second place after being defeated by purdue Padi FC 4-3. it was the most entertaining midwest soccer final at least i've ever watched in the past 3 yrs. with Padi FC leading in the first half 2-0, many thought that there was no hope for Vandy FC to equalize. but in the second half, Vandy FC scored 2 goals to level with Padi FC. Padi FC scored one more before we counter with another goal making the result 3-3 10mins before the end of the game. however, Padi FC's 4th goal at last 5mins of the game give us no chance to equalize. yet we are satisfied with this long waited victory. some shed tears as early as we won over umich. above all, we are among the best. we are VANDY FC!!

Buildings around campus

its not that im busy doing something useful this whole week, but rather wasting my time sleeping n doing nothing. i should've went out n take some photos n practice my skills (this statement has nothing to do with the entry header). in vandy, the building is pretty much the same. dont have that much difference because all the campus builing is built using red bricks which sometime seems so boring n makes u wonder if the world is run out of other materials to construct the buildings. so i black n whited them.

no specific topic for today.. still tired shooting vandy graduation photos and graduation bbq party yesterday. this year, 19 msians graduated from vanderbilt as engineers. i congratulate them all. took these pictures from my old files.

Walk in centennial park
|

|
went for a walk at centennial park the other day. went there after had a lunch in logan's just to shoot some photos. i didn't know there was some kind of handcraft expo held there at the pathenon lawn. it was my lucky day for i can shoot so many things and people and it'll be a good shooting practice for me. the place was fairly crowded with people just wandering around and craftsmen attending their booth to display their hand work to the public.

Senior farewell party

after 4 yrs of struggling, these senior peeps are finallly graduating. congratulation to all of u. we the remaining vandians will definitely miss u guys. i just simply can't describe how sad i am after 3yrs we laughed, joked, ate, played and almost everything we did together, now we are on the different tracks. every beginning has to come to end. so this is the end of our journey as vandy student together. but our bond as vandians will never decay. these are the best photos i could get on that nite. sorry for the poor quality. despite the quality, i hope these pics will help us to remember each other in the coming days.
