|
Each week we need to shoot at least 3 to 5 rolls of film. the following week is for critique session. i did pretty good in presenting my work. libby rowe, my instructor love my work n so do 6 other students. i cant judge my work by myself. so u judge them. the first project is basically to get to know the lightmeter n how to get the correct xposure. i have the feeling that i lost or mislocate some of my pics that i cant retrieve them. i dunno where they are. however here are some of them. these are the one chosen by libby to be presented on the critique day.

Fundamentals of Photography

I took this class last summer session n i tell u that it was hell a lot of fun. fun making friends, fun learning how to develop the negative, print the picture in the dark room. it was quite an experience. i fell in love even more with black & white photography. it has its own esthetical value. the class was only one month, so i did not do much of developing an printing job but it was tiring.. to get the right exposure n contrast and all those stuff. i shoot almost every day. with 3 to 5 rolls of ilford hp 5 film for each project. but overall it was fun. there's gonna be quite a few same photos but in the different xposure n contrast in the next few entries. so hope u guys won't feel boring. for this entry, i just add some photos that have been undergo archival toning. enjoy

Went whitewater rafting few weeks ago and while waiting for the ride, took these shots w/o using macro lens or any sorts of material that enable to take macro shots. just plain regular lens that i always use. but they turned out good tho. they seem like i was using kinda macro lens.

picture taken long time ago when i was in morgan house 10th floor. i can no longer see that sight from this window of chaffin, but if i want to i always can go to the roof top of 25th ave garage. another fascinating view painted by Allah for us to admire. praise him the way he should be praised.

This river's name is Caney Fork River. this is where we fish every week. all kaki pancing vandy will come here as early as right after smyg suboh at 530 in the morning just to get the best spot to fish. most of the fish caught here is trout. n yes folks, we got at least 25 trouts every week n we feast on the fishes after that by doing bbq. one way to get ourselves more close to each other.

i can consider myself as lucky cos when i was walking home from engineering building yesterday, there was a red tailed hawk putting some show on the lawn. she was holding a dead squirel under her claws and ready to feed. i had both my camera and telephoto lens with me so i got a pretty good close up shots on her. she caught everyone's eyes that past the lawn. i should tell u, she is so awesome and her height was about my knee. a damn huge bird. very spectacular. oh yea... while she was feeding on the squirel flesh, some small birds probably robins or something, came and interfere her. i bet u those birds have guts to mess with this monstrous bird. she was like 15 times larger than them or maybe more.

today i want to talk about sudin. sudin is one of the most dedicated vandy fc defenders. was a good senior, friendly and he has a very distinguished style of lawak. he got so many talents that i can only name few of them or else u guys would have to see my fotopage for more than 5 mins. i heard he is going to work for petronas but not sure when. so ladies n gents, i present to u. sudiiiiiinn... (poyo laa plak)

balik balik azmin.. asek asek azmin... bosan dah tgk muke azmin. tp azmin will alwaysl be my senior.(sungguh gay statement ini). jgn salah anggap. azmin was my senior back then in both mrsmj and vandy. one of my favorite seniors in vandy. the reason? because he doesnt know how to make lawak. lawak yg dier sorg je gelak. anyway.. nie gamba dier yg tlah dimono kan bbrape hari lps.
